Awwww, "Same Kind of Different As Me" is a SPECTACULAR read. And bonus points for taking place in Fort Worth! Thanks again for sharing the Amazon coupon, I'm always adding to Kamden's library. Who, by the way, turns one next week (19th) and we're celebrating his birthday today. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, or both. How did our babies grow up so fast?!

  2. I really liked the one about date nights, but not the one about gift giving for Christmas. I think birthdays should be about celebrating the person who's birthday it is and that is the best time to fulfill a child's wish list and for being extravagant. Christmas is a birthday party for our King, so we should make it more about Him than about us. That is what makes Christmas magical.
