Finish This...

This game is called "Finish This," and all you have to do is finish the following prompts and link up your post below! You can also visit the other hosts of this party on their fun blogs: Nicole {Three 31} Lisa {Coastlined}, and Becky {The Java Mama}.

I conquer fear... by imagining the worst case outcome and then telling myself it will probably go better than that. For example, when preparing for breastfeeding I learned everything I could about cracked and inverted nipples, latch problems, and low supply. Then I got a recommendation for an in-home lactation consultant and told myself I would probably cry and bleed during nursing for at least two weeks. I figured not all of those problems would happen, but I would be prepared if they did. What do you know? Breastfeeding was a breeze and I actually got to return some of my nursing aids {creams and gel packs and such} because I never even used them.

I follow my heart... when it's in line with God's Word. I believe the Holy Spirit prompts us and guides us, but I don't believe we should follow our hearts or do what feels right unless we know our actions are in line with Scripture. The Bible is very clear that our own hearts can be "deceitful above all things" and can lead us astray {Jeremiah 17:9}.

I feed my soul by... waking up before the Baby and spending time reading the Bible every morning.

I used to worry about ____ but then I... See question #1 :)

Prompts for next week...
The best compliment I ever received ...
Wearing red lipstick makes me feel ...
The best investment I've made ...
My best childhood memory ...

Imagining the worst works for me too. It makes anything less than that quite acceptable.

Love this! I have a tube of Lanisoh crème that's never been opened. I'm blessed to not only have an abundant supply, but I've had not issues either. :)

I always prepare for the worst case scenario as well. Helps ease the pain, lol
