So we've been hosting this "Finish This" game for a few months now. When Nicole first asked me to join her for this project, I agreed in my postpartum blur. I thought she was asking me to co-host for one week. I didn't realize it was an ongoing blog series until it started. At first, I was overwhelmed at the thought of posting weekly and thought I would have to back out. But then I realized that the prompts for "finish this" are the perfect way to get out of a blogging funk. I hadn't been blogging consistently since getting pregnant, and this weekly exercise has been the perfect thing to get my fingers tapping the keyboard regularly again {I think maybe it's even helped me jump back in with my school work}. So if you've been feeling a bit of a writer's block lately, I encourage you to try the game below. It's strangely productive to write out short answers to fun questions.
You can also visit the other hosts of this party on their blogs:

Getting a workout trying to lift my giant child...
Outfit details: Tank :: Nordstrom {similar} // Shorts :: Loft {Awesome fit, but size down and feel good about yourself!}
I feel an adrenaline rush when... I spend quality time with my girl friends, find amazing bargains while shopping, or set a new PR during a race.
I feel energized when... I get a nice long quiet time in the morning or when I get my bathrooms cleaned during morning nap time.
I feel small when... I lug my giant baby around.
I feel big when... I see my tiny baby sleeping in her crib.
I feel stupid when... Micah uses vocabulary I've never heard before and I think, "How am I getting my PhD in English?"
I feel smart when... things at school go surprisingly well for me and I pause and think, "Maybe I'm better at this academic stuff than I thought."

Thank YOU for being an AWESOME co-host with me, I hope you enjoy this link up as much as I do. It has certainly helped with my own "writer's funk" as far as keeping up with the blog! Your giant baby, aka Miss Z, is precious and I just want to squeeze her. Kamden has his four month appointment this Friday (second round of vac shots, boooo) but I'm anxious to find out his official weight and height. This kid is a chunk, wearing 18/24 month clothes, but he's built like a tank. He's solid like his Daddy in the chest and shoulders, which is why he wears such large clothes. Our babies are growing so fast. XO, Nicole
I love this picture of you and your little girl :) It's so precious and sweet (and you both have nearly the same expression!). Thank you for co-hosting this wonderful link up each week. It's been such a blessing having an outlet to write and I started by reading your posts of "finish this."
