This game is called "Finish This," and all you have to do is finish the following prompts and link up your post below! You can also visit the other hosts of this party on their fun blogs: Nicole {Three 31} Lisa {Coastlined}, and Becky {The Java Mama}.
I will never outgrow... my retainer. Okay, technically I did outgrow my last one. It was made for my 14 year old mouth, way back in 8th grade, and I just recently got it replaced with one that fits my 31 year old mouth... but I will never outgrow going to bed with the comforting feel of acrylic and metal keeping my teeth in place.
I splurge on... swimsuits. Do you know the difference between a cheap Target suit and one made by J.Crew? The price might seem steep on a higher quality suit, but it will seriously last five times longer than a $20 one and the fit is more flattering and supportive too.
My passport represents... me in college. Curly hair. Pale face. Dead of winter. Preparing to embark on a mission trip to Belize.
My most ridiculous fear is... polyester? looming architecture? water towers? Which of my fears is not ridiculous?
My favorite thing to give is... a cup of coffee. I love to meet up with friends for a coffee shop date and pay for their drink or bring some caffeine to their house for a quick visit. Want to come to my place? I'll whip you up an espresso while you sit in my kitchen and chat.
Next week's prompts...
1. I celebrate Valentine’s Day by...
2. My heart goes pitter-patter for...
3. When looking for romance, my best advice is...
4. My favorite love story (real or fiction) is...
5. The best relationship/love/dating advice I ever received was...

I wish I'd splurged on swim suits when I was young and fit
I have never owned a nice swimsuit. :P I rarely swim, so it doesn't really seem to make that much sense as an investment because I'm pretty sure I'd always hate swimsuits and the way they look on me no matter how pricey...but maybe I should give one a try someday...
Swimsuits are SO worth the investment! I have one cut from Land's End that I purchase every 3-4 years. I don't even waste my time on anything else.
Um... you have an espresso machine? I need to come over a LOT more often. ;)
Um, I'm coming over right now so we can chat in your kitchen. But I'm not much for espresso. Can you make me a cup of tea? :)
Every time I look at your GORGEOUS smile I think of how big an idiot I am for not wearing my retainer. Bathing suits are totally worth the investment. I want to make a splurge investment this summer when I buy a suit in a smaller, post-pregnancy size. Keepin' my fingers crossed!
I splurge on swimsuits too for the same reasons you noted! They fit and they LAST. Whenever I buy a cheap one, the clasp breaks, or the elastic wears out or I am not comfortable in it because it just doesn't fit right!
I still wear my retainer too. I got it at 15 and never considered that I may outgrow it. Time to go get my teeth check I suppose. Thanks for hosting :)
