End-of-summer-mom. This is going to be me in approximately six years. I know it.
Pinterest launches price-drop notifications... but I have to give a huge shout-out to my friends over at Salemarked who have already been offering this service for over three years now! They just saved me $20 on a Hobo wallet this week!
Our culture is awesome. A fun little read about some of the positive changes in our society in recent years, especially regarding digital culture. These are the things I study in my PhD program, y'all...
7 Secrets of Highly Happy Children. My mom sent me this. Since when did my mom get trendy enough to send links to HuffPo articles? While I don't think it's my ultimate goal as a parent to ensure my child's happiness {holiness always trumps happiness}, I do like a lot of what this article says...

Yay, you found Lindsey and her site, The Wise Baby!!! I hope you enjoy it and find it as useful as I have recently. In fact, I spent last weekend completely "revamping" our online baby registry because of her (and other real moms') advice and suggestions. I can't believe you're due in 3 weeks, it seems like yesterday you were wearing the BIG REVEAL t-shirt in the family picture. LOL
Hugs,

Ugh. I pretty much regret EVERY SINGLE thing we bought/registered for when we first got married...(5 years ago).
That time in your life is SO difficult b/c you are throwing a wedding (your first adult party) and moving in together (your first adult home).
It's so many decisions and pressure all at once. I still struggle with making our home...not too "girly" but just "girly enough" you know? We've painted...twice...and are on our fourth set of living room curtains. Haha.
Intervention!!???!!
I am so glad you posted a Jen Hatmaker post. I want her to be my young, hip, Jesus-loving Fairy Godmother. Haha.
