hey, hey it's my birthday {giveaway}!

It's true. It's my birthday. I have officially entered my "very upper 20s" as my friends like to call it. One year from today I will be thirty. Not sure whether I feel scared or excited about that...

Goodbye 28! You are gone like the wind...

Today is a simple day. I don't anticipate any big surprises {especially since I ordered both my presents from Micah online with his credit card - oh, the joys of marriage!}, and tonight I have to sit in class until 7:30pm. I mean, I love school and all, but class on your birthday is a real killer. Maybe Micah will take me to Dairy Queen afterward. I would say "hint, hint" here, but I'm pretty sure he NEVER reads "our" blog, so I guess this is just me sharing my birthday fantasies with y'all. Yes, Mud Pie Blizzards constitute a fantasy in my world.

I must say though that this past weekend was filled with lots of fun with friends and family, so I feel as if my birthday has been thoroughly celebrated despite having to go to class tonight. God has blessed me with so many great relationships in Arizona and I am so thankful for my friends here!

So today I'm going to throw a party for you guys. It's a little birthday giveaway! And my gift to you is one month of FREE advertising for your blog or business on The Arizona Russums! I would love to support your blog or biz on my sidebar. If you don't already have a button for your business {I'm talking to all my non-blogging Etsy friends out there!}, I would be more than happy to make you one.

To enter for a month of free advertising on my blog, you must be a Google Follower. Just click that button over on the right to follow if you haven't done so already. Then just leave a comment below and you are entered to win! If you want to tell me the best birthday gift you've ever received in that comment, go right ahead!

I will announce the giveaway winner on Friday! Happy birthday to me and happy UNbirthday to you!!!

I'm a follower, and want to be entered into the giveaway.

My best birthday gift was my last birthday, June 13th. The reason: It was the first birthday that I had that I had a wife AND a baby to spend it with.

We ate free food all day (birthday freebies), and just spent time together.

Can't wait to next year!!! (God willing)

Happy belated birthday! I'd absolutely love to win a sponsor spot. Every little bit helps in terms of getting my project out there.

As for birthday gifts... hmm... I think my best birthday "gift" was the time one of my college roommates got all my friends to make me cards (including my then international bf) and strung them up around the room for when I woke up. While not technically a gift, it was one of the sweetest, most thoughtful things anyone has done to date. (And she is still one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people I know!) I actually still have those cards nearly 5 years later. :)
